This type of outlet cover is very restrictive and notorious for getting clogged and cannot be cleaned. It must be removed by a roofer and then repaired and /or replaced.

Unless you want to remove the wire mesh and clean it at least once a month, don't do this! — Bad Idea!

Every time I have come across these covers, they have crumbled to dust at the touch. They apparentl — These are cheap and fairly easy to install. However they only last about 3 to 6 months before the plastic dryes and they fall apart. They are not UV protected.
