Air duct cleaning equipment is designed for larger and heavier ducts. Many companies use highly compressed air, which can dislodge taped seals in the duct, resulting in air and moisture leakage. Air duct equipment has the potential to cause damage and leaks in a dryer vent. Should an air duct become damaged or start to leak, of course there will be some energy loss, but it will not be a threat to your health and safety.  However, if a dryer vent becomes damaged and leaks, it will be a very significant threat to the health and safety of your family and damage to the home or business. Leave the dryer vent cleaning to a dryer vent cleaning specialist. 

There may be a few reputable air duct cleaning companies, but I have only heard negative stories from my customers about this service. It really concerns me how they get away with all the fake reviews I see. There is too much deception and a huge lack of customer service in the service industries today. I am often asked for recommendations for other trades. I hesitate to recommend anyone without knowing that they will always do a good job.
